He is survived by: his wife Dr. Carol McConnell; his children, Tyler Scott Howington of Alexandria, Virginia, Cameron Woody of Boston and Adrienne Woody of Raleigh; his father Michael "Mike" Howington (Patricia) of Wallburg; and his brother Michael Benjamin "Ben" Howington of High Point.
