He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Leo and Annie Adline Chandler (Thomas); his wife Gene Chandler (Haynie); and his brother Herman Chandler. He is survived by: his sons, Rodney R. Chandler and David P. Chandler of Jamestown; his grandchildren, Brett Chandler (Melissa) of Texarkana, Dr. Cassie Chandler of Lexington, Elizabeth Cunningham of Texarkana and Abby; and his great grandchildren, Taylor, Kaemon, Sarah, Simon, Dylan, Sophia and Noah.
