It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David Mikell Chiles of Jamestown, North Carolina, born in Knoxville, Tennessee, who passed away on November 15, 2023, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, L. C. Chiles and Victoria Chiles of High Point. He is survived by: his wife Sarah; his daughters, Angela Kemper (David) and Melissa Freeman (Doyle); his sister Dixie Burns (Dan); his grandchildren, Nick Freeman (Brittany), Brynn Freeman, Collin Kemper (Lidia), Paige Kemper and Cara Freeman; and his great grandchild Declan Freeman. He is also survived by his many cousins, nephews, and nieces.
