She was predeceased by: her parents, Mitchell Earl Dills and Maude Passmore Dills; her husband Daniel Mashburn; and her brother Joe Dills of Jamestown. She is survived by: her children, Ernie Stevenson (Lori) of Greensboro and Tammy Nifong (Mike) of High Point; her grandsons, Zachary Nifong (Kara), Wesley Nifong (Emily), Jacob Mashburn and Seth Mashburn; her great grandchildren, Jaxon Rhett Nifong and Ada Caroline Nifong; and her sister Jan Dills (Gerald) of Nantahala.
