Paul Ray Helms Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Paul Ray Helms of Indian Trail, North Carolina, who passed away on November 16, 2024 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester Helms and Katheleen Harkey Helms. He is survived by: his wife Ada Mae Helms; his children, Ann Johnson of Monroe, NC and Dwayne Helms of Matthews, NC; his grandsons, Aaron and Jordan of Monroe, NC; his siblings, Vera Broom of Monroe, NC, Peggy Harget of Indian Trail, NC, Nancy Haywood of Waxhaw, NC and Tommy Helms of Holden Beach, NC; his niece Vaniss Robenette of Charlotte, NC; and his pets, Fancy and Bird.
A celebration of life will be held on Monday, November 25th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Joy Lutheran Church (8600 Potter Rd, Weddington, NC 28104).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Counsel on Aging Union County.
