He was predeceased by: his parents, John Roper and Katherine Roper of Hamburg, Germany.. He is survived by: his wife Carol Roper; his daughter Jutta Hanneman (Donald) of South Africa; his stepson Michael Adamczyk (Alicia) of Monroe, NC; his grandson Thompson (Bianca) of South Africa; his stepgrandchildren, Andrew Adamczyk Hannah (Alexis), Noah, Tori, Justin and Seth; and his great grandchild Amber-Jade of South Africa.
