She was predeceased by: her father Harold Gibson; her husband Charles Stephens; her brother John Gibson; her children, Jane Barr and Stephen Barr; her granddaughter Beth Rodden; and her great grandchild George Winchell, Jr. (Those).
She is survived by: her mother Patty Orr Gibson; her children, Dale Barr of Lowell, Trish Vanhoy and Stephanie Foster (Craig) of Ferguson, NC; her sister Louise Gibson Shaver of Waxhaw, NC; and her grandchildren, Missy Young (Mike), Brian Barr (Christine), Chuck Rodden (Chris), Randall Richardson (Stacey), Wendy Richardson (Buck), Josh Grant (Amanda), Jennifer Winchell (George), Michael Barr, Brittney Barr and Kendall Barr.
