It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Detlef Wolfgang Jaekel of Huntersville, North Carolina, who passed away on February 23, 2025, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert Jaekel and Elfriede Jaekel. He is survived by: his sister Angela Schanke; his children, Dirk Jaekel (Kimberly Pressley Jaekel) and Tanja Jaekel Roos (David Roos); his grandchildren, Kirsten Jaekel Linfoot, Hunter Jaekel (Sarah Stevens Jaekel), Tatyana Roos (Max Miner), Tyler Jaekel and Zoe Roos; and his great grandchildren, Elizabeth Linfoot and Elijah Miner. He is also survived by his wife, children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Sunday, March 2nd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Raymer-Kepner Funeral Home (16901 Old Statesville Rd, Huntersville, NC 28078).
