He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Avery Steelman and Fannie Steelman; his wife Jackie; his daughters, Adelia (Dan Phillips) of Huntersville, NC and Bobbie (Stephen McCann) of Charlotte, NC; his grandchildren, Elizabeth (Eliot Boyd) of Louisville, KY, Daniel (Ragan Phillips) of Watkinsville, GA, Anna (Brian Flis) of Concord, NC, Avery (Lisa Brunk) of Purcellville, VA and Charles Blanton of Charlotte; and his daughter Anna Blanton. He was also cherished by in-laws, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
