He was predeceased by: his wife Elizabeth Caldwell White. He is survived by: his parents, White Tolbert and Sherian Bryson Tolbert of Hudson; his sons, Travis Ty White of Hudson and Harley Lee White of Hudson; his granddaughter Elizabeth White; his sister Maranda Hoyle of Granite Falls; his stepchildren, Ashley Caldwell Jones of Hickory and Adam Caldwell of Catawba; and his stepgrandchildren, Landon, Savannah, Wesley and Elizabeth.
