It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sheila Walker Joplin of Hudson, North Carolina, who passed away on February 5, 2023, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Wallace C. Walker and Molly Whisnant Walker; her husband Dwight Lofton Joplin, I; her grandson Joshua Andrew Joplin; and her brother Wallace M. Walker.
She is survived by: her sons, Dwight Lofton Joplin, II (Teresa) of Granite Falls and Clint A. Joplin of Hudson; her grandchildren, Jessica, Molly, Katie, Thomas, Sally and Benjamin Joplin; her great grandchild Jasper; and her sisters, Diane McCrary of Lenoir and Linda Foltz of Kentucky.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Harris Chapel Baptist Church, 1448 Cajah Mountain Road, Hudson, NC 28638.
