We are sad to announce that on June 30, 2021, at the age of 73, Ronnie Larry Gibbie of Hudson, North Carolina, born in Gaston, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse James Gibbie and Mary Adams Gibbie; his siblings, Howard Gibbie, Danny Gibbie, Revenia Gibbie, Darlene Clark and Sue Hardin; and his brothers-in-law, Billy Joe Johnson, Dennis Luther Ghorley Jr., Kenneth Lee Ghorley and W. C. Thomas.

He is survived by: his wife Sylvia Johnson Gibbie; his children, Larry Gibbie (Crystal) of Hudson and Rhonda Isenhour (Wayne) of Newton; his adoptive daughter Angela White Whisnant (David) of Lenoir; his sister Elizabeth Kaye Gibbie Thomas; his grandchildren, Samuel Isenhour, Tiffany Whisnant Bozor (Jean Elden), Jasmine Whisnant Pena (Christopher), Chaydyn Whisnant, Johnathon Roland and Chelsea Roland; his mother-in-law Geraldine Ghorley of Gastonia; and his siblings-in-law, Charles Ghorley, Maxine Gibbie, Tina Gibbie, Robin Johnson and Susan Ghorley.
