She was predeceased by: her parents, James Elvin McIntosh and Lucille Armstrong McIntosh; her husband Darrell Mitcham; her son Darrell Steven Mitcham; and her siblings, Ella Jean Bentley, Peggy Pope and James McIntosh.
She is survived by: her daughters, Kay Mitchell (David) of Hickory and Beverly Fry (Benny) of Hudson; her grandchildren, Brad Sherrill of Hickory, Scott Kirby of Hudson and Stephanie Munday (Josh) of Newton; her siblings, Carol Crump of Lenoir and Jerry McIntosh (Kay) of Hickory; her sisters-in-law, Dorothy McIntosh of Georgia and Gail Mitcham of Alabama; and her friend Lib Munday of Hickory. She is also survived by three great-grandchildren, six step grandchildren and ten step great-grandchildren.
