He was predeceased by: his sister Ruth Queen McDonald (Wayne); and his niece Jane M. Stroupe. He is survived by: his parents, Glenn Queen and Vertie Self Queen; his wife Frances F. Queen; his children, Kennedy Lee Queen (Joseph Williams) of Raleigh and Kara Kay Queen of Greenville, SC; his sister Mable (Johnny Hoke) of Morganton; and his nephews, Wayne Freeman and Johnny Freeman. He is also survived by nephews and nieces.
