With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Judy Winkler of Hudson, North Carolina, who passed away on September 29, 2021 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Ted Bumgarner and Marie Shook Bumgarner; her husband Claude "Heavy" Winkler; her brother James Danny Bumgarner (Tom); her children, Kelly W. Winkler (Beverly) of Hudson, C. Alan Winkler of Granite Falls and Annette Winkler of Hudson; her grandchildren, Tyler Winkler, Jared Winkler, Trevor Hicks, Ashly Wilson, Nikki Hicks, Nickolas Winkler, Jeremy Winkler and Rachel Hicks; her great grandchildren, Aly Bentley, Laney Main, Jada Hicks, Hadley Wilkie, Scarlett Hicks, Cadence Winkler and Oliver; and her brother Jerry Bumgarner (Judy) of Hudson. She was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
The family respectfully asks anyone who wishes to attend Mrs. Winkler's service or receiving please wear a mask and practice social distancing. Also, due to COVID, the family understands family and friends may not feel comfortable attending.
