She was predeceased by: her father Rev. Calvin Helton; her son Timothy Smith; and her siblings, Edith H. Bollinger, Aline H. Hamlet and James M. Helton.
She is survived by: her mother Arlie Bolick Helton; her husband Henry "Buck" Mullinax; her children, Wyatt C. Smith of Lenoir, Peggy S. Rudisill (Brent) of Vale and LeAnn Graybeal (Joey B. Mitchell) of Newton; her sisters, Marie Reid of Granite Falls and Thelma Homesly of Cherryville; and her granddaughter Andrea Autrey (Shane) of Newton.
