She was predeceased by: her parents, Aaron E. Shell and Frances White Shell; her husband Robert Lee Lane, Jr.; her son Kenneth Church, Jr.; and her siblings, Paul Shell, Earnest Shell, Darlene Jones and Iva Dean Shell.
She is survived by: her son Robert Lee Lane, III (Melanie) of Granite Falls; her grandchildren, Alexis Lane (Thomas) of South Carolina, Abriana Lane (Blake) of Havlock, NC, Gus Pritchard of Granite Falls and Lawson Pritchard of Granite Falls; her siblings, Rev. A. E. Shell (Mary) of Lenoir, Johnny, Wanda Church (Jerry) of Lansing, NC, Irene Crews (Levi) of Lenoir, Mildred Church (Vernon) of Hudson, Kathleen Spencer (Johnny) of Hudson and Patsy Earp (Paul) of Florida; and her sisters-in-law, Isadore Shell of Thomasville and Carolyn Shell of Wilkesboro. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
