Gaither Withers Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gaither Withers of Hudson, North Carolina, who passed away on November 25, 2021, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George Withers and Bonnie Miller Withers; his son Douglas Evan Withers; and his siblings, Herman Withers and Barbara Hampton.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Kate Maye Withers; his children, Brian Withers (Gina Phillips) and Tina Burdette (Jim); his grandchildren, Ethan Withers, Evan Withers, Codi Johnson (Zach) and Austin Burdette (Taylor Williams); and his great grandchildren, Addison Johnson, Mason Williams, Easton Burdette and Ayla Withers. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Mt. Zion Baptist Church (building fund or to the cemetery fund) at 1787 Cajahs Mountain Rd. Hudson, NC 28638.
