He was predeceased by: his parents, Lonnie F. Benge and Laura Anderson Benge; his son Rodney Lee Benge; and his brother Bill Benge. He is survived by: his daughter Sandra Leann Mckee of Hudson; his granddaughter Ava Gragg; and his siblings, L. B. Benge (Dianne) of Columbia, SC, Geraldine Dillard of Granite Falls and Judy Mackey (John) of Myrtle Beach, SC..
