She was predeceased by: her parents, Rev. Frank and Julia McCall Knight; her husband George Donald Hatley; her son Wayne George Hatley; and her siblings, Howard, Ken Knight, Madeline Herman and Doris Bryant.
She is survived by: her sons, Richard Hatley of Granite Falls, Joey Hatley of Winston-Salem and Jeff Hatley (Shannon) of Conover; and her brother Robert "Bobby" Knight (Libby) of Hudson.
