He was predeceased by: his parents, Austin Clair and Jessie Casewell Hostler; his sons, Richard Hostler and Austin Hostler, Jr.; his great grandchild Jesse Moate; and his sisters, Eunice Albright of Pennsylvania and Eva June Flaugh of Pennsylvania.
He is survived by: his wife Paula Louise Stiver Hostler; and his children, Robert Hostler (Michelle) of Fayetteville, James Hostler (Pam) of Wyoming and Glenda Bentley (Tony) of Hudson. He is also survived by ten grandchildren; twenty-eight great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
