He was predeceased by: his parents, John Honeycutt and Kathleen Honeycutt; his siblings, Tommy Pruitt, Robert Doug Honeycutt, Barbara Nichols and Rilla Kathleen Honeycutt; and his brother-in-law Cecil Bowlin.

He is survived by: his wife Cheryl Honeycutt; his children, Michael Honeycutt (Wendy) of Granite Falls, Ronnie Honeycutt of Granite Falls and Amy Crump (Mark) of Lenoir; his grandchildren, Lily Honeycutt, Mayla Honeycutt, Elijah Crump (Kaitlin), Abigail Crump, Annabelle Crump and Elex Crump; his great grandchild Raegan Crump; and his siblings, Larry Honeycutt (Leatha), Johnny Honeycutt (Frances), Rebecca Honeycutt and Wilma Bowlin. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
