He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Webster Martin and Ora Oren Martin; and his sisters, Nancy Martin and Libby Messimer. He is survived by: his sons, Paul and Chris; his daughter-in-law Genna; his sister-in-law Debbie; his niece Charlotte; his siblings, Brady Chandler, George Chandler III (Karen), Hank Chandler (Boneta), Tony Chandler (Alice), Debbie Furr and Suzi Pulliam; and his close friend Linda Mitchell. He is also survived by cousins, nieces, and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the North Carolina Community Foundation or the Cholangiocarcinoma Foundation.
