He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Earl Austin and Allice Lillian White Sanders; his siblings, Betty Gail Weir of Swansboro, Carol Strickland of Charlotte and Olin Baldwin of Charlotte; his nieces and nephews, Doug Weir (Paula), Charles DeWayne Weir (Shirley), Christopher Strickland (Kristin), Jenny Phillips (John) and Melissa Crawford (Ted); and his brother Earl Sanders, Jr..
