He was predeceased by: his parents, George Allen Griffin and Mabel Griffin Westbrook of Duplin County; and his wife Joyce Smith Griffin. He is survived by: his children, Judy Williams (John), Willis Griffin Jr. (Lona), Earl Griffin (Kimmy), Joseph Griffin (Nell) and Juanita Goodacre (Billy). He is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
