It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Landis Jay Walker of Holly Ridge, North Carolina, who passed away on August 28, 2020, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Boyd Walker and Annie "Pat" Walker; his sister Lana "Monk" Tadlock; and his son-in-law Steve Deluca. He is survived by: his girlfriend Nola Wooten; his children, Tammy DeLuca of Mt. Olive, Kimberly Cassell (Dave) of England, Joseph "Joey" Walker of Holly Ridge and Phillip Walker of Faison; his sister Linda Jo Hopkins (Bobby) of Ayden; his grandchildren, Paige Houston, Taylor Walker, Skylar Cassell, Landis Cassell and Kayla Walker; his great grandchild Elizabeth Houston; and also, Mark Hobbs of Snow Hill, FW, Church and Tinker.
