She was predeceased by: her parents, Veda Baker Fairbairn and Melvin Fairbairn; her son Ronald E. Gray Jr.; her grandson Mark A. Gray Jr.; and her siblings, James Fairbairn and Gail McArthur.
She is survived by: her husband Ronald E. Gray Sr.; her sons, Donald B. Gray (Terry), Michael R. Gray (Betsy) and Mark A. Gray; her daughter-in-law Norma Gray; her grandchildren, Hillary Peterson (Ronald), Holden Gray (Lauren), Erin Gray, Sawyer Gray, Collin Gray (Ana), Molly Silvanic and Eric Silvanic; her great grandchild Kayla Tully; her brothers, Anthony Fairbairn (Patty), Melvin Fairbairn (Shelly) and John Fairbairn (Donna); and her cousin Leroy Fairbairn (Lize). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the American Heart Association in Joan's name.
