She was predeceased by: her parents, John Edward and Minnie Pearl Whaley; her husbands, Robert Goodman Shaw, Sr., Lee James Mitchell and A. Z. Davis; and her brothers, John Whaley Jr. and James Whaley.
She is survived by: her sisters, Margaret Hoines of Langford, SD and Amanda Whaley of Jacksonville, FL; her children, Pamela Dekle of Jacksonville, FL, Robert Shaw Jr. (Vikki) of Middleburg, FL, Nancy Jones of Jacksonville, FL, Cynthia Rounds (Mitchell Rounds) and Karen Flowers (John) of Hampstead, NC; and her stepchildren, Jim Mitchell (Agnes), Jeannie Cornish and Leanne (Ricky). She is also survived by 24 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and many cherished nieces and nephews.
