With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Pearle Rogers Lambert of Highlands, North Carolina, born in Scaly Mountain, North Carolina, who passed away on August 31, 2020 at the age of 100. She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Carpenter and Lonnie Carpenter (Mason); her husband Arthur "Dusty" Rogers; her son Arthur "Spec" Rogers, Jr.; her grandson Johnny Michael Potts; and her siblings, Ethel Miller, Grace Edwards, Bess Creswell, Elizabeth Littleton, Louise Hudson, Dee Carpenter and Zeb Carpenter.
She is survived by: her great grandchild Braylee; her children, Nora Potts (late Roy) of Highlands, NC, Margaret Heinlein (Blair) of Highlands, NC, Debbie "Trudy" Alexander (late Tim) of Highlands, NC and James "Jimbud" Rogers (Anne) of Highlands, NC; and her grandchildren, Derrick Potts, Melissa Crowe, Monica Vinson, Jay Calloway, Mike Calloway, Justin Rogers, Cole Alexander, Carly Alexander, Nadya Rogers and David Rogers. She is also survived by twelve great -grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
