He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Nowlin and May Nowlin (Durante); his wife Jerrie Nowlin (Westfall); and his brother George 'Dean Nowlin. He is survived by: his children, James Robert Nowlin of Wilton Manors, FL. and Jacqui Jean Rowe (Nowlin); his son-in-law James Rowe, Jr. of Tuckasegee, NC.; and his sister Gloria Hemingway (Larry Hemingway).
