It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Erestine Reed (Highlands, North Carolina), born in Macon, North Carolina, who passed away on June 19, 2019, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lyman Zachary and Dora Zachary; her husband Eldon Reed; and her siblings, Claude Zachary, Carl Zachary (Bub), Lloyd Zachary, James Zachary, Rena James, Bernice Hedden and Mattie Crawford.
She is survived by: her children, Jewell Crowley (Dewayne) of Patrick and Morris Reed (Cindy) of Highlands, N. C.; her grandchildren, Crystal Mangum (Clifton), Michael Crowley and Jackie Petrone (Vince); her great grandchildren, Caston, Nathan and Zoey; and her sisters, Mildred Wilson, Lillian Waller (Lil) and Lucille Potts.
