It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Derrill Franklin Deal (Highlands, North Carolina), born in Tamassee, South Carolina, who passed away on April 18, 2022, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his siblings, Harold Deal and Audrey Baty; and his son Kyle Deal (Robin). He is survived by: his children, Herschel Albert (Grace Crowe Deal), Michael Deal (Janice), Sandra Carraway (Mike) and Derrill Deal Junior; and his sisters, Ollie Waller and Dottie Daniel. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Wounded Warrior Project.
