She was predeceased by: her parents, David Fortner and Mary Ann Treadway Fortner; and her siblings, David Lee Fortner, Lois Daphne Crotts, Faye Fox and Joy Charles of Claremont.
She is survived by: her husband Tony Lee Johnson of Hiddenite; her children, Weston Lee Johnson (Tricia) of Taylorsville and Kylie Johnson Laastad (Chris) of Taylorsville; her grandsons, Wyatt Johnson, Isaac and Caide Laastad; and her brothers, Tommy Fortner (Connie) of Stony Point and Dennis Fortner (Nancy) of Taylorsville. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
