She was predeceased by: her parents, Kelus D. Carson and Violet Lee Haynes Carson. She is survived by: her husband Gary R. Lackey; her daughter Jessica L. Lackey (Caleb) of Hiddenite; her sister Melissa C. Vowell (Chris) of Hiddenite; and her granddaughter Violet Elise Lackey.
