It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert C. Kerley of Hiddenite, North Carolina, born in Catawba, North Carolina, who passed away on November 20, 2023, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil Bernard Kerley and Lillian McGwyn Alvey; his wife Barbara Ann Kerley; and his grandson Joshua Kerley. He is survived by: his sons, Scott Kerley (Kerri-Ann) of Alexander County, Danny Kerley (Holly) of Alexander County and Andy Kerley (Kellie) of Alexander County; his grandchildren, Maddox Kerley, Karen Kerley, Brody Kerley, Jasmine Kerley, Autumn Kerley, Jasmine Kondas, Bella Kondas, Judah Kerley, Eli Kerley, Ian Kerley and Ansley Kerley; and his siblings, Mary Johnson of Catawba County and Gary Kerley (Annette) of Catawba County.
