He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas "Tom" Meadows and Lizzie Childers Meadows; his brother Grady Meadows; and his parents-in-law, Gaither and Ruth Smith.
He is survived by: his wife Peggy Smith Meadows; his children, Reneé Campbell (Randy) of Union Grove and Craig Meadows (Lori) of Hiddenite; his grandchildren, Carrie Shell (Wesley) of Hiddenite, Chelsea Lowman (Robbie) of Connelly Springs, Shelbi Russ (Landon) of Hiddenite and Allen Ward of Hickory; and his great grandchildren, Teagan, Thatcher, Thea Shell and Asher Ward.
