He is survived by: his wife Noreta Russell Adams; his son Dale Adams (Fonda) of Hiddenite; his grandsons, Jared Adams and Logan Adams; his sisters, Becky Gardner of Taylorsville and Paulette "Sissy" Hefner (Jerry) of Taylorsville; and his nieces and nephews, Jeremy Hefner, Chris Jenkins, Jenna Buff and Cindy Killian.
