He was predeceased by: his parents, George Howard Lackey and Lois Head Lackey; and his brothers, Authur, Donald, Hayden, Roger and Gilbert Lackey.
He is survived by: his wife Ruth Mayberry Lackey; his children, Martha Bentley (Roy), George Lackey (Connie), Sharon Lackey and Byron Lackey (Vickie); his sister Linda Lackey Lee (Jerry); his sister-in-law Mildred Lackey; and his close friends, Ronald Tilley, Randy Hamby, Kenneth Head, Herman Hughes and Herb Kelsoe. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, two step grandchildren, two step great-grandchildren, one step great-great- grandchild.
