It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David Fletcher of Hiddenite, North Carolina, born in Alexander, North Carolina, who passed away on December 11, 2023, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Guy Talmadge Fletcher and Lillie Lowe Fletcher; his grandson Jacob David Fletcher; and his brother Guy Talmadge Fletcher, Jr.. He is survived by: his children, Gener Naomi Fletcher (William Van Dyke) of Taylorsville and David Nathaneil Fletcher; his grandchildren, Cholena Fletcher, Kaalena Fletcher, William Fletcher, Gretchen Minton and Bianca Fletcher; and his sister Bertha Faw (Tommy) of Wilkesboro.
