She is survived by: her siblings, Wanda Beatty Backus of Iron Station, NC, Tony Beatty (Pam) of Hickory, NC, Ron Beatty (Wanda) of Garden City, SC and Bob Beatty (Gin) of Belmont, NC; her grandson Alex Houston of Asheville, NC; her nieces and nephews, Becky Estep of Mt. Airy, NC, Shelly Rogers of Garden City, SC, Amanda Quickle (Paul) of Johnson City, TN, Todd Flowers (Wanda) of Clover, SC and Matt Backus of Iron Station, NC; her siblings-in-law, Barbara Houston Turner (Tommy), Robert Houston (Cathy), John Houston (Barbara) and George Houston; and her friend Cliff Block.
