It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Jay MacMichael of Hendersonville, North Carolina, born in Ashtabula, Ohio, who passed away on April 15, 2023, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Donald Bryson MacMichael and Margot Steidel MacMichael; his wife Rebecca Rhea MacMichael; his children, Rae Andreano (Richard) of Bunnell and Dr. Daniel Gatewood (Patrick Mudd) of Washington, D. C.; his siblings, Donald MacMichael (Mercia) of Hendersonville, NC and Linda Brandow (James) of Weaverville, NC; and his grandson Sidney Andreano of Bunnell, FL.
