He is survived by: his close friend Maggie Hepburn; his children, Judy McDonald of Pickens, Sandra Kumar of Easley and Rickey Phillips (Denise) of Pickens; his stepson David Sanders of Hendersonville; his brother Wallace Phillips (Donna) of Pickens; his great great grandchild Vanessa Ponton; and his close friends, Brian Cotton, Dennis Parris, Larry Britton and Scott Britton. He is also survived by seventeen grandchildren; twenty-nine great grandchildren.
