It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lois Lee Shafer of Hendersonville, North Carolina, who passed away on May 14, 2023, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Lee and Dorothy Lee (Miller); her daughter Cynthia Lee Shafer; and her brother Peter Lee. She is survived by: her close friend Emilie Gardner; her son Stephen Shafer; her daughter-in-law Terry Hatton Shafer; her grandchildren, Timothy, Holly and Melissa; her great grandchildren, Madison, Cameron, Gemma, Eoin and Sadie; and her sister-in-law Donna Lee.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Lois' name to Elizabeth House, the non-profit hospice home Lois was cared for during her last days.
