It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lenore Joan Barnett of Hendersonville, North Carolina, who passed away on January 27, 2023, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Roy Barnett; her parents, Edward Freed and Mary [Burnell] [Freed] Cohan; her brother Anthony Freed; her aunts and uncles, Lewis Burnell, Norman Burnell, Elizabeth Burnell, Clara Burnell, Rose [Burnell] Edmonds and Susan Burnell; and her cousins, Ken Burnell, Donald Burnell and Walter [Burnell] Edmonds.
She is survived by: her children, Gary Barnett (Lori), John Barnett (Jennifer) and Terpsichore Barnett; her grandchildren, Max Moorman, Sam Barnett (Sydney), Peter Barnett and Amelia Keith (Chad); her great grandchildren, Maisie [Barnett] Moffat, Eric Keith and Andrew Keith; her niece Carol Freed; and her cousins, Roger Burnell and Sherry [Burnell] Oslager.
In honor of her memory, Lenore would appreciate donations be made to the Humane Society or to the animal shelter of your choice.
