He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael Kocinski and Frances Wiatrowski Kocinski; and his siblings, Helen Ozoga, Mary Ballo, Margaret Turcotte, Rose Otto, Albert Kocinski, Michael Kocinski and Ben Kocinski.
He is survived by: his wife Collette Marie DeRoche Kocinski; his children, Rhonda Sue Pagan (Pedro) of Mesa, Arizona, John Michael Kocinski, Jr. (Rae) of Wheaton and Steven Peter Kocinski of Grayslake, Illinois.; his grandchildren, Dana Alvidrez (Scott), Dylan Kocinski (Amber), Jack Kocinski and Maria Kocinski; and his great grandchildren, Joziah Kocinski, Emslee Kocinski and Ezra Kocinski.
