He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Townsend and Betty Ella Townsend; and his brothers, David L. Townsend and Larry R. Townsend. He is survived by: his wife Judy McJunkin Townsend; his son Joe Townsend; his daughter-in-law Angela of Edneyville; his granddaughter Grace Marie Townsend; and his siblings, Tammy L. Campbell and Jerry W. Townsend.
