It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mark Carter (Hayesville, North Carolina), who passed away on January 28, 2023, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Tillman Carter and Eleva "Susie" Carter; and his sisters, Brenda Carter Henderson and Virginia Stroud. He is survived by: his wife Wanda Jean Waldroup Carter; his sons, Mark Anthony Carter (Jennifer) and Derek Carter; his grandchildren, Davis Mark Carter (Erin), Drake Carter and Jenna Carter; his brothers, Glenn "Pee Wee" Carter (Sheila), Tim Carter (Sharon) and Jim Carter; and his sister-in-law Shirley Carter. He is also survived by many niece's and nephews.
