We are sad to announce that on March 30, 2024, at the age of 68, Ellen Teresa Chastain of Hayesville, North Carolina, born in Murphy, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Smart and Ethel Shelton Smart; and her brother Rex Smart. She is survived by: her children, Casey Chastain and Nicole Blair (Bobby); her sister Marsha Lockard (Deleware); and her grandchildren, Johnathan Burns, Ismail Munshi and Aalia Munshi. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins, and very close friends.
