With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Charlotte Rose Dempsey of Hayesville, North Carolina, who passed away on August 3, 2023 at the age of 72. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Francis A. Zimmerman and Marguerite Kummer Zimmerman; her husband Gary Dempsey of Hayesville; her sons, Sean Dempsey (Kathleen) of Hayesville, Bruce Dempsey (Ramona) of Hendersonville and Mathew Dempsey (Bethany) of Fleetwood, Pennsylvania; her siblings, David Zimmerman of Katy, Texas, Elaine Zimmerman of Greensburg, Karen Boggs (Bill) of Greensburg and Nancy Komarinski (Jim) of Mt. Pleasant, Pennsylvania; her grandchildren, Katelyn Boardman, Ian Dempsey, Elizabeth Dempsey, Josiah Dempsey and Benjamin Dempsey; and her great grandchild Kyleigh Boardman. She was also cherished by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials in memory of Charlotte Rose Dempsey be made to Hayesville American Legion Post #532, PO Box 22, Hayesville, NC 28904.
