It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James W. Eck of Hampstead, North Carolina, born in Eldred, Pennsylvania, who passed away on April 25, 2021, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter "Jack" and Margaret Copenhaver Eck; his wife Sharon Fitch Eck; and his siblings, John, Richard Eck, Wanda Beck and Darlene Eck.
He is survived by: his children, Marli Jo Kimball (Richard) of Victor, NY, Steven Eck (Tammy) of Hampstead, NC and Carolyn Klaiber (Roger) of Kane, PA; his grandchildren, Dalton, Connor Kimball, Natasha, Regan, Alexis Eck, Elyse and Nicholas DeLauro; his close friend Margaret Hart; and his siblings, Marion Boedecker of West Ellicott, Loretta Knapp of Clarendon, PA, Daniel of Florida and Keith Eck of Florida. He is also survived by extended family including four step children and ten step grandchildren.
Face coverings are required, and social distancing must be observed.
